The 7601A-H has been created to provide a simple control solution for DALI ballasts. The interface accepts a standard voltage 1...10V (or 0...10V respectively) or a simple potentiometer as control input.Output is in DALI BROADCAST mode (all connected ballasts react simultaneously) or in DALI GROUP mode (all participants or DALI group #1 react). The device can be reconfigured to control group #2 or adress #1 or address #2 alternatively. The output conversion is performed constantly and periodically. If needed, the decoder can be set to single mode: the output will then only be written when the input signal changes. Noisy input signals can be smoothed using the optional "slow" mode. This ensures smooth intensity changes even with stepping input voltages. The 7601A-H is intended to be used in a standard DALI bUS system and makes use of the standard bus topology. Thus you may need a DALI bus power supply to operate the DALI bus.The 7601A-H power supply is from standard 24V DC1-10V tp DALI CONVERTER1-channelInput: 1-10V (or 0...10V, or potentiometer 22k)DALI Output: BROADCAST, or GROUP (1/2), or ADDRESS (1/2)Output: DALI BusPower Supply: 18-24VDC, approx. 1W
Now and again (but not that often) you might need to convert DALI to DMX512.If so the 'creatively' named DALI to DMX512 64 channel converter should do the job.Plug it in, stick DALI in one side and DMX comes out the other - what more could you ask for.As a bonus you do get an internal switch to select if DMX is held or not if DALI is lost.Specifications DALI to DMX - 64 channel DIN rail120v AC (90v - 140v); Please specify 120v operation when ordering240v AC (190v - 250v)DIN Rail MountingWhite
To operate DMX512 devices on the DALI bus, a suitable format converter is needed. The 7064A-H allocates 16 DALI addresses and re-routes all intensity data (direct arc levels, group levels, or scene levels) as 16 individual DMX512 data slots to the DMX output. Thus DMX spots, DMX dimmers, DMX driven RGB or RGBW LED assemblies or DMX effects a simply be integrated into a DALI system.IMPORTANT NOTICE: The 7064A-H uses 16 consecutive pre-defined DALI short addresses to ensure 1:1 ALI/DMX address matching. It does not support random DALI Long-AdressingThus a DALI controller must be able to read existing configurations (e.g. Tridonic X-Touch Box, X-Touch Panel, SLH USB-DALI, Zumtobel Emotion etc). Please note, that many KNX-DALI gateways do not allow to work with pre-set bus addressing. Only KNX gateways supporting pre-set configurations (e.g. Busch-Jaeger 6197/41) can be used. Gateways supporting only auto-adressing (e.g ABB DGS-1/1) can not be used with the 7064A-H.
Since more and more intelligent DMX controlled fixtures are used in architectural lighting environments, the need for a DALI to DMX converter arises. The 7064B-H simulates 16 DALI driven ballasts and converts the lighting level data into the DMX format to drive the connected fixtures. The 7064B-H supports all DALI-specific parameters such as Minum Levels and Maximum Levels, Groups, Scenes, Fade Times and more. The 7064B-H format converter supports both, RGB– and RGBW– (or RGBA-) fixtures. To operate DMX512 equipment from a DALI bus, a suitable format converter is needed. The 7064A-H occupies a block of 16 DALI addresses and converts the level info directed to these addresses into the DMX format. The converter supports single DALI addresses, DALI groups, broadcast mode, DALI scenes, DALI fades and other DALI format coammands. Thus color changing equipment, moving lites and similar equipment can easily be integrated in DALI systems. Up to 4 decoders 7064B-H can be operated on 1 DALI bus. The device supports automatic DALI addressing schemes.Specifications DALI to DMX Converter 7064B-H16 data slotsInput DALI (16 Short addresses pre-defined, re-adressable)DALI address range selectableAusgang DMX512/1990, DIN56930-2, DMX512-APower supply: 230V AC, approx. 2,4WDimensions: DIN rail module, 4U widthImportant notice: The 7064B-H supports random DALI Long-Adressing, but in order to keep a consistent block of DMX slots the decoder is pre-configured with 16 consecutive DALI short adresses. Thus a DALI controller must be able to read a existing configuration at setup. Most DALI controllers can do so (e.g. Tridonic X-Touch Box, X-Touch Panel, SLH USB-DALI, Zumtobel Emotion Panel etc). KNX-DALI Gateways can only be used, if they do support reading existing DALI configurations (e.g. Busch-Jaeger 6197/41). Devices only supporting DALI auto-addressing (e.g. ABB DG/S 1-16/1, Siemens) cannot be used. The 7064B-H consists of a LCN compatibility mode and can also be used in conjunctions with LCN-DALI gateways (e.g. LCN-DDR). As setup tools we recommend to use our USB-DALI tool, which comes complete with setup and monitoring software.

The XTBA DALI Watch is a brand new tester/programmer which is designed to simplify DALI commissioning and/or testing, identify faults, monitor commands and make life a little simpler. So if none of the below makes any sense - don’t panic as the XTBA DALI Watch will help you through muddy waters of DALI – it is not ‘Rocket Surgery’.This tool will help to remove most of the mystery of DALI helping even the beginner to understand what their DALI fittings are doing, and more importantly, how to make them do what you want! The DALI control protocol has been around for over 25 years and has mainly been used in office or architectural settings. But with the increasing use of LED fixtures and DMX/DALI hybrid systems many more DALI fixtures are being installed. Whilst DMX is reasonably well understood and has numerous testers - some good and some not so good - search the web for ‘DMX tester’! DALI is a different story. There are a few DALI programmers/testers available. They are expensive, difficult to source, most need a laptop and dongle (difficult to use on top of a ladder) and for the most part difficult to understand let alone use. The XTBA DALI Watch provides all the tools you need in one simple unit, controlled by five buttons and information viewed by a back lit LCD display. If you are used to DALI (and its strange ways) XTBA DALI Watch has all the basic and advanced tools you would need to setup your installation and diagnose problems. If you are new to DALI and just need to get an installation up and running quickly the XTBA DALI Watch will provide the simple solution.Features DALI WatchReceive FunctionsReceive Levels – View all incoming levels. The XTBA DMX to DALI 64 channel converter (RDM compatible) offers a 1 to 1 level conversion between DMX and DALI. The start address of the 64 DMX channels to be converted is set from the PCB mount code switches. In addition as DALI ballasts do not have address switches they need to be programmed. The XTBA card can be set up to program the ballast's address. As DALI is relatively slow the DALI data length can be shortened on the XTBA card between 64 to 1. Half the number of channels sent = double the speed. The unit also has a user selectable output curve to improve the fade profile. The unit will also drive the DALI ballasts direct without the need of an additional DALI power supply. The XTBA DMX to DALI 64D can be supplied (on request) with an additional external switch input. The switch allows the DALI output to be controlled from a switch in the event of DMX loss. This may be useful if the converter is used to control house lights in an installation. Using the switch the house lights can be controlled without the need for the main lighting control to be turned on.Following requests from customers (and some ideas of our own) the DMX to DALI 64 software has been updated. Updated features in V68 now include:The unit can convert DMX to DALI channels (as before) or the unit can be set to convert DMX to 16 DALI groups. Local test mode will support channels or groups making for simple installation testing. The unit can be supplied for use with an external power supply to allow for installations where more than 80 DALI fixtures are required.Hold last frame on DMX loss has been added as an option. An ‘emergency mode’ option has been added which will send all fixtures to a user set level in the event of DMX loss.DALI ‘Failure Mode’ allows fixtures to go to their programed ‘failure’ levels in the event of DMX lossNow fully RDM compatibleSpecifications DMX to DALI - 64 ch DIN rail RDMLength: 70.00mm120v AC (90v - 140v)240v AC (190v - 250v)DIN Rail MountingWhite

Will be replaced by the 3801D-HOnly stock sale, do not use in new projects! The 3804B-H is the successor of the industry standard 3004B-H interface. Using a internal power supply, the interface can directly operate from 230V mains supply, thus there is no need for external power supplies. Additional optical isolation between DMX IN and DSI/DALI outputs provides increased safety and makes the decoder SELV compatible. The 3804B-H is intended for permanent installations. Thus it does not have any configuration switches. All settings can be programmed using DMX RDM or a standard start address board which are available as a separate accessory.DSI and DALIThe 3804B-H supports 2 output protocols: DSI (DSI (Digital Serial Interface) and DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface). The decoder comes preset to DSI and must be reconfigured to DALI if needed. That makes the 3804B-H a versatile tool. The 3804B-H is compatible with the latest DMX RDM standard and can be configured remotely. The 3804B-H supports 4 outputs, which can be loaded with up to 8 electronic ballasts max. Please note, that the 3804B-H does not support the DALI bus structure, but operates in DIRECT DALI Mode. In order to avoid signal delays due the slow speed DALI bus all DALI units are connected directly to their own DALI port. This also avoids the need to commission ballasts, since communication uses broadcast mode. Since the decoder drives the ports directly, no DALI PSU must be attached to the outputs. If you need to drive a DALI bus system, pls use the decoder 7044B-H instead. The 3801D-H is a DMX to DALI converter similar to the 7044B-H. The decoder drives connected DALI ballasts wired conforming to the DALI bus schema, and provides a DALI bus powered output capable of addressing up to five adresses or DALI groups. The interface can directly operate from 115/230V mains supply. The DALI bus is internally powered, thus there is no need for external bus power supplies. Additional optical isolation between DMX IN and the DALI output provides increased safety and makes the decoder SELV compatible. The 3801D-H is intended for permanent installations. Thus it does not have any configuration switches. All settings can be programmed using DMX RDM or, if you do not have access to a DMX RDM controller, a standard start address board 3000P is available as as separate accessory. The 3801D-H supports the DALI output protocol and can be configured to match either a 1%...100% or a extended 0,1%...100% DALI control range. Since the decoder drives a DALI bus, the connected ballasts must be commissioned to a specific DALI address (1...5) or a specific DALI group (1...5). Use our DALI programmer USB-DALI to program DALI devices. The 3801D-H is compatible with the latest DMX RDM standard and can be configured remotely. For more information regarding DMX RDM pls check www.rdm.soundlight.eu The 3801D-H supports one powered DALI bus output, which can be loaded with up to 8 electronic ballasts max.
