The 3406LC-H is a DMX splitter intended for DIN rail mount on standard 35mm rails. Simply click onto rail to install, or pull yellow release lever to unlock.
The DMX splitter consists of a DMX IN data input, and six electrically isolated DMX OUT data outputs. Since the outputs are electrically isolated in respect to the data input, a hazard on any ouf the output lines will neither affect the controller, nor DMX IN or DMX THRU data. This dramatically improves overall system stability and system reliability.
The 3406LC-H is fully DMX RDM compatible, operates in bidirectional mode and supports E1-20 and E1-37 DMX RDM standards. Multiple splitters can be used in parallel to provide more output branches. At discovery, all devices connected to one or more outputs are discovered simultaneously. This reduces the number of discovery runs significantly.
While the DMX splitter does not modify DMX signal contents or timing parameters, it monitors the signal. Detection of valid DMX data, or DMX RDM data is displayed.
RDM Device
The 3406LC-H is fully RDM compatible, but does not appear as RDM device itself („transparent device“).
