Small print, high power stepper motor driver: the 3904S-EP is fully DMX RDM compliant, but can be operated using DMX512/1990, DMX512-A or DMX conforming to DIN56930 as well.
The interface operated with standard unipolar stepper motors, whch can be operated from 12V or 24V power supplies. Unipolar stepper motors can easily be identified: they have 6 connector leads.
The 3904S-EP offers positiong mode in 8 or 16 bit mode, and also a continuous mode with variable speed and left/right turn option. In positioning mode, step width and drive speed can be adjusted by the user.
The interface has Neutrik XLR connectors on board and comes complet with start address board 3000P. Power suuply is 12...24VDC, dimensions are approx. 70mm x 70mm.
Please note: the 3904S-EP has been designed for simple movement of scenic elements (deco use). It supports half-step mode, it does not support micro-stepping (e.g. mirror movement). It must not be used for hazardous mechanical applications (since use of the DMX512 communications protocol is not allowed for potentially dangerous control applications, see standard ANSI E1-11)
