DALI 2 DMX Converter, 16 Channels
To operate DMX512 devices on the DALI bus, a suitable format converter is needed. The 7064A-H allocates 16 DALI addresses and re-routes all intensity data (direct arc levels, group levels, or scene levels) as 16 individual DMX512 data slots to the DMX output. Thus DMX spots, DMX dimmers, DMX driven RGB or RGBW LED assemblies or DMX effects a simply be integrated into a DALI system.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The 7064A-H uses 16 consecutive pre-defined DALI short addresses to ensure 1:1 ALI/DMX address matching. It does not support random DALI Long-AdressingThus a DALI controller must be able to read existing configurations (e.g. Tridonic X-Touch Box, X-Touch Panel, SLH USB-DALI, Zumtobel Emotion etc). Please note, that many KNX-DALI gateways do not allow to work with pre-set bus addressing. Only KNX gateways supporting pre-set configurations (e.g. Busch-Jaeger 6197/41) can be used. Gateways supporting only auto-adressing (e.g ABB DGS-1/1) can not be used with the 7064A-H.
