The standard control for electronic ballasts (EBs) for fluorescent lamps is the 1-10V control. Whereas with stage lighting control the light intensity is regulated up with the control voltage, with this control the light intensity is regulated down from 100% - the mode of operation is "reversed", so to speak. Therefore, do not try to measure an output voltage at this decoder without an ECG connected and switched on - this will not work, unlike a normal demux! 1 to 4 CHANNELS The Decoder 3044A operates either as a 1-channel or as a 4-channel device (e.g. for R/G/ B/W applications). Each output can be loaded with up to 50 ECGs. Here a control current of approx. 0.5mA is calculated per ECG (typical values for OSRAM ECGs). If you use other ECGs, please check the technical data of the ECGs and correct the number accordingly in case of higher current load.
