DMX Micro-Test

Product information "DMX Micro-Test"
The probably first full DMX512 protocol analyzer within a simple 5pin male XLR plug. Combining high integrated logic with up to date design solutions allows use to put a bus-powered tester into a simple XLR plug. But be aware, others a only able fitting simple LED resistor combination into it. The MicroTest first tries to find out, which polarity the DMX512 signal has, then if checks the break-time to be greater or equal than 88µs. It then continued by reading the first byte and checking for the two stop bits. If the received byte was equal to zero, all tests are passed and the result is a blink with the green LED for the correct polarity or with red and green (resulting in orange light) for inverted polarity. If any of the mentioned tests fails the MicroTest will try again. But if a one second time out lints up without of success a read blink will display that something is happening on the line, but can not be interpreted as useful DMX512 signals.
